Fresh Milled Flour from Organic Wheat Berries, Organic Local Honey, Organic Low-Sodium Sea Salt, Natural Spring Water, Organic Yeast, Organic A2 Milk
Storage:
1-3 days- Use an airtight bag or container. A zip-top bag is a good option for keeping bagels fresh for a few days. Place the bagels on the counter. Store the sealed bag at room temperature. You can also store using a paper bag inside a plastic one to allow for some airflow while still retaining moisture.
Freeze- Slice before freezing. Cut each bagel in half before freezing to make it easier to toast later. Trying to slice a frozen bagel is difficult and can be dangerous. To avoid freezer burn on the exposed insides, you can place a piece of parchment paper between the halves. Wrap each bagel tightly. Wrap both halves of each bagel tightly in plastic wrap or foil. You can add another layer of protection by placing the wrapped bagels in a freezer-safe zip-top bag, squeezing out as much air as possible before sealing. Place them in the freezer. Store the bags in the back of the freezer, where the temperature is more consistent than near the door.
To Revive:
From the freezer- Simply take the frozen, pre-sliced bagel and pop it directly into the toaster to thaw and toast at the same time.
Stale bagels: If you have an unsliced bagel that has become slightly stale, you can bring it back to life. Lightly wet the bagel with warm water, wrap it in foil, and bake it in a 350°F (175°C) oven for about 5 to 10 minutes.
